Hong Kong's MTR curfew continues tonight with all service to be suspended at 8 PM. This is the more bizarre because people have been using the system for two days now and can see with their own eyes that stations are not damaged enough to warrant closing. Many are intact.

Am I not reasonable to say, even if MTR is truly damaged by “rioters”, as govt would put it, and can’t function at all, the govt has the responsibility to divert all traffic from the rail with buses and minibus etc. The govt has no intention to do that. They just sit and say:pic.twitter.com/63U1DhBZl2
