Worth pointing out that Hamilton was one of the few founding figures who genuinely abhorred slavery. A more honorable stance than Jefferson's by far.

He did not abhor slavery, that is a total myth. He traded slaves and owned slaves. He'd be the equivalent of an Exxon executive who donates to the Sierra Club sometimes.
