We live in a country where a gun ban is not part of the serious political discourse even though we have regular gun massacres of children. Given that media reality, take with a grain of salt the idea that a complicated legal case against the President will sway public opinion

I think the correct plan depends entirely on conditions in the fall of 2020, which are impossible to foresee. The best we can do before then is nominate a competent candidate to run against him.
