In the few occasions when I've seen police in small numbers get cornered by angry demonstrators (like at Prince Edward MTR station on September 3), it's first aiders who have formed a cordon to protect them from harm.

I do not like that the police are declaring first aiders and press potential targets for arrest, at the same time as everyone in authority is emphasizing that cops may use deadly force. Someone getting killed is a nightmare scenario for Hong Kong
