I know it's satire, but I cannot watch "Succession." Got through season one on hope. But the "zero redeeming features" model of character development wrecked it for me in season two. These people are mean to everyone and terrible at what they do. This doesn't feel funny to me.
It fits the same description (the characters are all awful people) but somehow manages to be joyful. One thing that makes it hard to recommend is that I think it's much more fun to re-watch then watch the first time through.

I would respectfully disagree. It's not joyful in the least. It is unrelentingly negative. The SOLE form of joy are the rare occurrences when someone gets a comeuppance but it's always to the benefit of someone else who's worse, and nobody ever learns anything.
