The reason the site exists in the first place is that Delicious in the Yahoo era replaced an excellent information-dense UI with progressively less dense, visually bloated displays that took longer and longer to load. These were all inflicted on users by a top-shelf design team

I once watched someone revel in the glory of a framing hammer, a hammer that they choked up on quite a lot to use. I guess they were an amateur though, not a working carpenter.
