I know I'm getting repetitive on the topic, but the NYT thinks it's fine to editorialize and report on big tech without disclosing their financial involvement, or the third-party surveillance they allow through their site. In the financial press, such conflicts would be a scandal

What's required could fit in a tweet. "We have a financial relationship with Google and Amazon (and whoever else), and our pages, including this one, serve third-party tracking content directly from those sites." But they won't do it, and get upset for being called out on it.
