People on my feed calling for impeachment who don't belong to the "we must impeach because it's our duty" school of thought, but believe in practical politics—what's the sequence of post-impeachment events you imagine would lead to a desirable outcome?

I wouldn’t characterize them as “Democratic” voters, because the people you need to reach don’t vote normally. But effectively yes. Demographically, there aren’t any Republican voters left to mobilize.

Using the impeachment process as a platform to advertise that the Republicans are an existential threat to most voters, and _also_ a economic threat to middle America.

It would definitely energize the other side, too, but the rump that's left is mostly energized already, so more scope to gain on our side? I feel it's less the actual proceedings that would be energizing, then being able to posture and say "we're taking him head on"?
