Moreover, the article says the most recent disclosures of the company's political giving are for the second half of 2018. But that's not true—the most recent disclosure is for June 2019. If you're going to report this stuff correctly, you have to use the (beautifully designed!) FEC website. It's current, it exports CSV data nicely into spreadsheets, and it helps you avoid mistakes. OpenSecrets is great, but triple-check what you find against FEC filings please.
