I feel privacy is dying and the common mindset is, "Hey, I have nothing to hide." Laws, and enforcement of them, cant keep up with the rapid pace of tech and changing definition of privacy.

Yeah, I also see a lot of, "i don't like it, but i don't really have a choice." It's a concerted effort to make ppl think the current state sucks but is inevitable.

I've noticed Americans have trouble with "this thing sucks, is inevitable, and we need to fight it anyway" which is the default ethical stance where I come from
