I believe today's Libra hearings bolster my thesis that Zuckerberg just said "make it so" and the rest of the company has scrambled to build it. The fact that it's a shambles may reflect ambivalence in people lower down the food chain from the Great Leader

Teenage me is surprised I'm saying this, but Gates looks great by comparison. Zuck says "I WILL CURE ALL DISEASE", and then apparently doesn't talk about it for the next three years, while Gates just says "X0 billion could probably fund a lot of malaria nets" and people get nets.
