I would, because the donations are highly targeted, and who gets what from who matters quite a bit. There are companies (like the defense giants or sugar producers) who just donate to every incumbent, but the tech companies are different

That's the legal mechanism for corporations to make political donations under campaign finance law. The money is collected from Google employees, the donation has Google's name on it, and a Google executive decides who gets it.
