I'm writing a thing about congressional campaign security and am curious who people think should be in charge of it. All the answers are problematic; feel free to suggest others in comments.
I don't understand how public financing of campaigns is relevant to having a government agency for campaign security in your argument.

I read your surprise at the "Fed Agency" votes as coming from a place of "why would you trust the gov't with this". I was trying to suggest that if you replaced corp. money with gov.-managed vouchers for funding campaigns, maybe you could trust them to secure those campaigns.
