Google's June filing for political donations is up, and surprisingly, the $203K the company donated to politicians substantially aligns with its stated values of inclusion and respect for employees from all backgrounds. LOL, I'm just messing with you. Let's go through the worst:

Not much to see here. All large companies donate to both sides.

That's untrue, and kind of lazily untrue to boot.

I'll look into it. I read and watch as much as I can but I can't devote my entire life to researching every issue. My apologies if you think that's lazy.

That's cool. But if you had phrased it as "Don't all large companies donate to both sides?", we could have had a much nicer conversation.

I'll take that as a fact. It just makes my statement mostly true. Most large companies contribute to politicians on both sides.

As someone who works at Google, I'm thankful someone is drawing out who and how the company supports or works against employees. The problem IS that every company does it, that doesn't make it right, let's shine a light on all of them.
