I updated the Tech Solidarity instructions for adding a security key to your Gmail (Google did a mild redesign). You should absolutely, positively do this to secure your Gmail account! Very easy to use despite the scary complexity of setting it up. https://techsolidarity.org/resources/security_key_gmail.htm …

Also, if you work at Google (why??), please nag people to fix the documentation for this. They are welcome to use mine for free. The current docs are not helpful: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/6103523 …

The big deal about security keys is this: you can shout your password from the rooftops, or paint it on the side of your house, and no one is getting in to your Gmail without the key. And you can re-use the same key to safeguard your Github, Twitter, and Facebook accounts

You've convinced me, I'm finally going to get around to it. (psst--the "blue yubikey" link on the past line of this page is borked: https://techsolidarity.org/resources/security_key_faq.htm … )
