The billing model is monthly, so the better analogy here is to leased hardware. I don't believe WeWork lets you rent 300 offices for six hours, though I have some 'The Sting'-type scams I would love to run if that becomes possible.

So was the ability to lease hardware! (Services like ServerBeach and Linode) Before that, you had to build yourself a datacenter, or negotiate a multi-year deal with someone else who had. All I'm saying is there's a level beyond this (AWS) and WeWork maps to step 2, not step 3
