"AWS but for office space" doesn't inherently seem like a crazy business model. The numbers don't seem like they're working out though.

The previous norm for office space was multi-year with a lot of overhead and negotiation over buildout, so the WeWork experience of being able to set up a nine person office in a random city with a day's worth of paperwork is actually pretty transformational in that regard.

I just set up a 15 person office on short notice in New York through WeWork and it was really incredibly painless compared to all of the options I would have had ten years ago
