Speaking hypothetically, it would make it a lot easier to shoot up a school's music recital, which "enhances the functionality of a gun." Refusing to sell this case is consistent with refusing to sell concealed carry holsters.

I'd buy that for external holsters; it's OK to sell a hard case with padding that happens to fit guns and doesn't try to fake like it's a violin case. "Accessory"="optional component." A CC holster makes a gun easier to smuggle for everyone, so it's reasonable to restrict access.
