There comes a point when political donations are no longer spendable in time to affect the election. That point is not yet here. We have six races within the polling margin of error in what was supposed to be a long-shot list, and one last day to fundraisehttps://secure.actblue.com/donate/great_slate …

I am spending the election in Lancaster, PA, a district that Trump won by over 20 points. It is rated as 'Safely Republican' by the three major groups that calculate these rankings. It is also the laboratory for a different kind of political organizing, outside party lines.pic.twitter.com/uf1u3w2nqP

Polling from last week shows this "safe Republican" seat within the margin of error, at 50-46. The TV is full of attack ads against Jess by an uneasy opponent. The question is whether we can break through this noise in the four days remaining, and that's a matter of resources.

A similar situation obtains in our races in Alaska, in Syracuse, in the Finger Lakes, in Maine, in the High Sierra, in North Carolina, in Ohio, and somewhat incredibly, in northwest Iowa. We need an exhausted donor base to make one more push for exhausted candidates.

If Jess King can win in Lancaster, the headline in the paper will read "SMUCKER IS TOAST". You can't put a price on that. Give to her through the Great Slate, and if you've maxed out on Jess, donate to Beyond the Choir (an outside group supporting her):https://secure.actblue.com/donate/beyond-the-choir-pa …
