Yesterday at town halls with @Scholten4Iowa we heard some harrowing stories about mental health care in Iowa. One scenario: someone has a crisis and needs an inpatient night to be stabilized. The only facility with beds is in Davenport, 3 hours east. Police take them there (1/2)
