I have put up a spreadsheet showing how much each Great Slate candidate raised in the Q3 compared to their opponent, along with how much candidates took from political action committees (PACs). It was an astonishing quarter. Some remarks in this thread.https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1U47t87mmio17BSAwywKCnhxpyuqZnWJHyrF4bi_YEbM/edit#gid=0 …

Notice also how heavily dependent the Republican on this list, with the exception of McClintock, are on PAC money. Pretty much all of their PAC money comes from corporations, including the ones you work for. It's about half their campaign budget.

No one on the Great Slate takes a dime from corporations (the PAC donations you see are from non-corporate PACs like Emily's List). The upshot of this is—our candidates have raised a massive sum, your help has been crucial, and we're still far from parity with flush opponents.

Our giving is just a fraction of what candidates raised. Most of it came from inside their district. But fundraising success builds on success, and your donations have helped get people off the fence. There's a multiplier effect. Keep multiplying!https://secure.actblue.com/donate/great_slate …

My final bonus remark is that we have to fix this entire system of funding campaigns. These aren't anywhere near the expensive ones—we end up with millions in corporate money and an electorate saturated with bullshit ads. We back these people so they can reform this system.
