Nancy Pelosi could make life easier for about half the Democrats running for the House by resigning her leadership position right now, Paul Ryan style

Pelosi has been in national leadership since 2002, which means San Francisco has gone 18 years without a Congressional representative. She has a 29% favorable rating nationally. We can cut this electoral millstone from our neck, while gaining a skilled voice for SF. Win/win!

she has a low favorability rating nationally because of incredibly misogynistic gop attacks who want to get rid of an effective democratic leader. mcconnell also has a low rating nationally because he is effective for gop. stop letting gop control your agenda.

She's nearly 80 and had a good, long run as leader. I think our next leader should also be a woman. But we need a generational change, and leadership that is not so tied to corporate money.

creating space for new leaders is fine, but not by ousting effective ones. your attacks on corporate $$ are why you screwed pooch in primaries. you began your campaign as "red areas dems abandoned" and then it became "we want to oust mainstream dems" - ruined your message.

am i wrong? i watched you go from "pick up seats no one is going for" to "i dislike the person dems are supporting" - which almost got us basically a gop nominee in one district, because you were opposing the emily's list candidate.

and fwiw yes i've donated to a lot of great slate candidates and i appreciate the work you're doing a lot. but you have to decide whether you're working w/ dems or against them. and if w/, no need for gratuitous attacks on a popular party figure - totally unnecessary

I am for certain working against the national Democratic party, on behalf of people I hope will reform it from within

Regardless of that, thanks for supporting those candidates. Their views on this are their own, and it takes a lot of us with different beliefs working together to win the House this year
