Steve Daines, who was absent from voting but paired his 'yes' vote against Murkowski's 'no' in a time-honored and corrupt Senate tradition, got $1,000 from Google, $2,500 from Facebook, and $1,000 from Amazon.pic.twitter.com/gzQ6EHLLWw

If you work at one of these companies, I have two requests for you today. The first is to go in on Monday, speak with your coworkers, and together demand that this political giving stop. It doesn't reflect your values, it isn't necessary, and it's done in your name. Resist it.

My second request is that you take a portion of your very big tech paycheck and give it to 13 House candidates who refuse to take corporate money, from your employer or anyone else, and who will reform this corrupt and shameful system once and for all.https://secure.actblue.com/donate/great_slate …

(Mad thanks to my librarian girlfriend for coming up with the idea for this thread, and doing the hard work in assembling it. Behind every beautifully curated set of data, there's always a librarian.)

Microsoft's PAC nowhere to be found on this list? Seems surprising, since you called out Apple's absence because they don't have one.
