A big applause line for every candidate I have seen speak is "I don't take corporate money". People see the profound corrupting influence of large corporations in our politics, and respect candidates who reject it. The national Democratic Party throws this winning issue away

Another candidate on the rostrum is talking about being denied health insurance because of a pre-existing condition: arthritis. She was offered a $2500/month private health care plan instead. Health care for all is the other winning issue national Democrats have thrown away
