Not helpful to lump all men into one straw-man argument. Sure, lots of men use abortion as a tool to push their anti-women’s health agenda. But lots of us care about both mothers and children equally. And lots of us care about children before and after they are born, equally.

You’re right. It’s not about me at all. Except when people make it about me by saying “all men __.” In those cases, I feel obliged to say I’m not one of those men, if nothing else, to show that there are men out there who don’t fit the stereotype.

“I’m convinced men have no interest....” I agree that can be interpreted in many ways. But the common interpretation is not “some men.” It’s men in general. All I’m saying is I know a lot of men with a lot of interest and care for women and children. They’re called fathers.
