Do the unsubscribe links work? I've talked to campaigns and I can promise you that they do not want to spam people and understand how much tech people hate it, but this is a situation where there's a confluence of bad software, bad consultants and bad advice.
Thanks - yeah they work on an individual basis as far as I can tell (per campaign). I understand - thanks for all you’re doing.
Realistically this is unfixable right now (short of unsubscribing and giving a fake email when you donate) but something I am trying to understand with the help of candidates and their teams.
Speaking of the software - do campaigns pay for this (websites, apps, etc)? I’ve often wondered if there’s a place for volunteers to donate their time building these tools. I’d be way more jazzed to spend a few weekends working on something than donating the equivalent $ value.
