Look. Some Dems are socialists (I'm at very least socialist-adjacent myself), some are centrists. But don't let the press (or god forbid, Fox News) turn this election into some sort of intra-democratic war over socialism. We're fighting actual fascists here. Eyes on the prize.

I disagree, because at the end of the day, electing Republicans means that the fascist at the top of the party remains unaccountable.

I don't think Trump's a fascist, either. Fascists dress better! I think it's just become a generic political perjorative (which I've used, too), but to the extent that it reinforces American exceptionalism it hampers our understanding.
