That's my understanding of the statewide process for primary mail-in votes, which is also fairly new. This is me parroting what I learned working with @McCormickForCO and @RepDMB, and I invite the campaigns to correct me if I got it wrong.

You get two ballots if you’re a registered Unaffiliated. If you’re R or D you only get one ballot. But yes, self stamping or drop off is required.

Thank you for clarifying! And if you're unaffiliated, you can only return ONE ballot or it's invalid, right? Even if you return a blank second ballot. And the mailed ballot has to be *received* by the election date, not postmarked. Am I remembering that accurately?
