A while ago, Twitter added support for U2F security keys, but the instructions were not very easy to follow. Here's a new step-by-step guide for how to secure your Twitter account. As a bonus, you can use the same key to secure your Facebook and Gmail. https://techsolidarity.org/resources/security_key_twitter.html …

Say what?! - What person with a brain bigger than a pea would use the word SECURITY to announce this? If someone hacks 1 account they get access to ALL accounts! Dumb as f* ck!

I don't think you understand how security keys work. They work in combination with a password, so it is safe to use them on multiple sites, provided you don't re-use the same password on multiple sites (which no one should ever do).

I'm not an IT guy so am no expert but I would guess if they hack one they are already half way hack on others they find... What is you opinion on this? https://motherboard.vice.com/en_us/article/vbqax3/hackers-sim-swapping-steal-phone-numbers-instagram-bitcoin …

That article is one reason we tell people to use a security key instead of SMS. You can get a phone number reassigned pretty easily through social engineering (go to Verizon in tears); there's no way to get a security key except by physically stealing it
