Google's PAC showed a similar solicitude for Senator Wyden's 2022 re-election prospects in May of 2017, giving him $1000 for this far-off campaign. So by my count, of the fifteen members of the Senate Intelligence Committee, at least eight have taken significant recent political donations from Facebook and Google, and will no doubt recuse themselves when those companies are called to appear in September.
