@Pinboard @DKElections Have either of you thought about building a dashboard of federal (and eventually state) progressive candidates that highlights those who are falling behind in donations? I know I would check that at least weekly to decide where to make contributions

The problem there is that donations are only reported quarterly. We won't get more telemetry until September 30. Campaigns are squirrely about making public announcements about fundraising outside the FEC requirements, and I'm not allowed to ask them in private.

Quarterly reporting definitely makes it challenging. I think that some states require monthly reporting (for state races), so maybe start at that level?

For example, it looks like CO requires _bi-weekly_ filings for state candidates during the heart of the election cycle: https://www.sos.state.co.us/pubs/elections/CampaignFinance/calendars/2018/stateFrequent.html …

This is somewhat true for Federal elections and primaries as well; you have to file a pre-election report 15 days out and then report all significant donations betwee then and the election within 48 hours (I may not have this exactly right but that is the gist).
