Don't give to the DCCC, and don't give to the DNC. That money feeds a consultant ecosystem that has little impact on results but will trap you in a fundraising meatgrinder. Instead, give directly to campaigns you believe in who you think will make good use of the money.

And give earlier rather than later. Every week that goes by reduces the marginal value of a dollar. Early money frees up candidates' time so they can campaign and make public appearances, rather than spend endless hours on call time to donors. And it encourages skittish endorsers

For maximum impact, fund state house races, local races, or rural races in general. The Wyoming Democratic Party pays $600/month in rent for its headquarters. And if you want ideas, there are a billion of us on Twitter with pet races to recommend
