Just FYI, when you’ve snarked about “latinx”, it doesn’t read as light sarcasm, it comes across far more disrespectful than I think you intend. Whatever your linguistic objections, identity is a personal thing, worth erring on the side of being thoughtful.

Anil, for 30 years I've had my name butchered, and watched my mom's name get repeatedly "corrected" to the wrong gender in this country. I have a horsex in this fight. If you want to persuade me otherwise, you have my email, far more effective than public scolding
