Giving money to political candidates is NOT helpful. What is helpful is NOT giving money to political candidates. If you have a Dumpster Fire on your left and a Dumpster Fire on your right, you don't put firewood in either dumpster.https://twitter.com/Pinboard/status/1007656447742828544 …

The question is not HOW they should be funded, but WHETHER they should be funded. Both parties employ Campaign Professionals who use whatever money you give them to debase the process and obfuscate the issues. STOP IT. Stop giving them money.

The people I'm funding are candidates who use the money to buy things like flyers, gas, lawn signs and rent and office space. I think you should consider separating your anger about party funding (and the swamp of consultants it feeds) with regular people running for office

Wendy's doesn't run ads claiming that McDonalds' burgers are made from dogmeat. American Airlines doesn't run ads claiming that Southwest has filthy toilets. Dell doesn't run ads claiming that ASUS exploits minorities. Yet somehow these companies reach millions of people.

Yep, there’s this little thing called the internet that people can use for virtually no cost to reach people . That is this generations word of mouth like the old days when people just spread the word person by person
