I want to tweet for a moment about the track record of the Great Slate. The question from the outset was this: there is no goal more important than winning the midterm elections. Can tech workers pool their money in a way that will expand the universe of winnable seats?

On June 26th, Coloradans go to the polls—they are already voting by mail—and have a chance to nominate Diane Mitsch Bush in the third district, and Karen McMormick in the fourth. These two women mark opposite poles of the Great Slate.

Diane is a progressive state legislator with a track record of attracting Republican votes, and her district is trending blue. Karen is a veterinarian new to politics, but good at it, galvanized by last fall's election. People write off her district as hopelessly red.

The thing they have in common is, if they get on the ballot, no one will fight harder to win those seats in November. So I ask you to help them now, along with our three nominees, to give them ammunition to win that fight. Every dollar makes a difference.https://secure.actblue.com/donate/great_slate …
