Let's talk about macOS Mojave. This new version of the Mac operating system is emblematic of Apple's strip-mining California imagery for its brand, while giving nothing back to the people of the state.

Instead, Apple and the other tech giants appropriate California imagery and sell the lifestyle to their employees, while making it prohibitively expensive to live here. And so, incredibly, California is now the poorest state in the Union when factoring in cost of living.

Earthquakes have done more good for California (by forcing large-scale spending on infrastructure, and creating opportunities for regional planning) than the multi-trillion dollar tech industry that grew up in the state. This is so shameful.

And Apple's CEO, Tim Cook, has traveled to DC to be photographed smiling with the President, and help advance his agenda, while millions of Californians live in fear of deportation. We don't need this. Apple is incorporated in Delaware—please, call the next one macOS Wilmington.
