More on predatory conferences here. "Lacking real peer review, they allow anyone to present & publish poor, plagiarised or phony research." You will notice the conference brand name in the screenshot above is specifically mentioned in this piece. https://www.universityworldnews.com/post.php?story=20180409123131407 …

Also, "Alyssa" in that first screenshot above, the one advertising the
#PredatoryConference, isn't a real person. The picture is that of a model on a website selling clothes. Ain't Google's image lookup grand.Show this thread -
How very interesting. My good friend
@RogueTrader84 decided to draw Alyssa's attention to the fact that her Twitter profile pic is identical to that of a clothing model: https://twitter.com/RogueTrader84/status/1209402234066341888 …This Tweet is unavailable.Show this thread -
And very shortly after, Alyssa seemed to be not so keen on having a Twitter account any more.

Here's another. "Rachel Walker" was following "Alyssa", and appears to work for the same
#PredatoryConference mob. A Google reverse image search suggests that "Rachel's" profile is about as authentic as a three dollar bill.https://twitter.com/GeoffSchuler/status/1209395504834056198 …Show this thread
