Three friends in the past week had friends held up at gun or knife-point in SF. I've never heard of anything like this in 34 years of being a resident here. What is going on..?

Result of having the absolute worst DA
@chesaboudin I had a homeless person move into my basement & we called the police to have him removed, but they let me know that the DA wouldn’t prosecute. So he had a new home This ultimately caused me to move out of SF12 replies 2 retweets 191 likes -
Seriously...? Isn't that trespassing?

Nope! We had another guest that was squatting on the house & according to SF law if you stay somewhere longer than 30 days you’re a resident. The not-paying-rent-squatter invited the homeless person in, so its “cool” Today they’re both still there, living for free. Poor landlord

Same with break ins. I parked on the street in SOMA last time I was in the city, and someone broke in to steal my loose change and shoes, and repeated this car to car, after mine. SFPD said they don’t even write reports, just call your insurance, like it was my fault.

I looked it up SFPD has over 20,000 car break in reports in 2019...I’d say they take reports....
