    We have not eradicated polio, but can be done. It is not possible to eradicate COVID. Futile attempts to do so are political, disregarding basic infectious disease epidemiology, and the worst assault children and workers since segregation and the Vietnam War.

    We eradicated polio. There is absolutely no reason we can’t all get vaccinated and eradicate COVID. Saving lives never had to be political.

    I'm with - the answer to propaganda and misinformation is to equip citizens, kids, students and ourselves with media literacy skills. Censorship is not the way in a democracy, and its use brings real risks of finishing off what there still is of democracy.

    Similar to how much of the left has to justify the reasons they initially held the same viewpoint as David Frum re: war on terror & Assad, I assume the same will happen in regards to vaccine mandates, passports, and other covid policies which degrade civil liberties.
