I hate to be "that person", especially given my feelings about trans/intersex interrelation, but I am bugged that in the examples 2 identify as transgender and the others are silent on the issue.

If It's helpful background, all 4 drawings are me and real friends, 2 of which id as both intersex and trans.
-
That's fair and does help. I just meant the other two being silent on it kinda struck me. Do the other two see themselves as cis? neither cis nor trans? Why are the only identifications of gender mentioned the trans ones? Does that make sense?
-
Totally! You're right. Not sure why I forgot to mention gender on the other two. I (pink one) am nonbinary/gq and other friend is also nonbinary.
-
I have met intersex people who identify as cis. But those I hang around just also happen to be queer/trans/not cis anyway. So not sure what real distribution is. Would love to know.
-
Frankly I'd be shocked if the intersex populace had a non-binary/genderqueer/transgender ratio below 10%, it's at least 25% in my anecdotal experience. It's a big part of why I see gender dysphoria as possibly being a form/expression of intersex (see: https://twitter.com/Yakaru/status/913529295343042560 …)
-
Non-intersex trans and intersex people need to be allies, but this post from
@catgraffam explains well our issues with feeling copted by other queer identities:https://medium.com/gender-2-0/the-rift-between-us-intersex-and-trans-discourse-62dee7f7a73 … -
I absolutely agree with this analysis, intersex people being co-opted into arguments for (and also against, which I've also seen) trans people is infuriating. I realize that sounds contradictory to what I said earlier, but it's nuanced in a way Twitter isn't well suited for.

If anyone wants to share or use on their website going forward, would love it if you use new version, including a few edits and
#POC led organizations added to resources. HERE: https://static1.squarespace.com/static/596f8ac7579fb35f9298f9ed/t/5a2328be71c10b3508bfad74/1512253638940/IntersexAwareness-JPGfull.jpg …Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

1 Hey! awesome graphic! Notice that Intersex Campaign for Equality (IC4E) isn't included in resources though. We're only POC founded IS org in US & only 1 that specifically repr. non-binary & queer issues, & we've contributed a lot to intersex visibility/the mvmt.
Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

2. I think not devaluing the contributions of queer POC intersex people/orgs--which happens so much in activism of al kinds-- and including diversity in the mvmt is important and I hope you agree & will add us. http://www.intersexequality.com . Please let me know. TX!

So absolutely! Embarrassed I missed that. Will go in nwxt round of edits for sure. Thanks Hida.
-
Great, thank you! Are next round of edits something you can do soon, or is it like a faraway thing. The longer people see it w/o us in there the longer we get excluded.

Replying here in addition to dm. Will make time this weekend.
