Sure but most of the countries at the upper end of that list also tax people on lower/middle income levels more. Labour are denying the need to do that.

Yes. We should look at things differently. Public spending should be seen as investment in our future not subsidy. Funding education, building homes, cherishing the NHS, caring for our elderly - all essential investment. Valuing people makes society stronger and happier.

The tragedy of the last 40 years is the way normal working people have been persuaded to abandon the solidarity that won them all their positives & sign up to the spurious idea that rapacious neolibertarians have somehow got their best interests at heart and will look after them.
