My heart is bursting. On the eve of my first child's birth, my dad - who's been in prison nearly my entire life - was granted clemency. He never intended harm, yet his crime devastated many families. My heart breaks for the families that can never get their loved ones back.

@chesaboudin - you say about your dad: "He never intended harm, yet his crime devastated many families." Was there actually a plan to do that armed robbery *without* shooting the Brinks truck guards? 1/23 replies 5 retweets 60 likes -

And how about when the gang hiding in the back of the "switch car" your parents were driving jumped out and shot the cops who pulled over that U-haul? Was that all just spur-of-the-moment? I'd have more sympathy if you and your parents could be honest about those murders. 2/2

What happened at your dad's trial: "All three defendants declined assistance from defense lawyers and chose to represent themselves. Their contention was that since they did not recognize the authority of the United States, the government had no right to put them on trial." 3/x
