Fuck you.

"shoplifting incident" - not "brutal police terrorizing citizens" - I don't even have to read their "fact" sheet if they are going to frame it this way. We are reacting to the police video. THAT is the incident you are speaking of. SMH

This is an absolute disgrace. Your department clearly does NOT understand the gravity of the use of violent, disproportionate, and potentially lethal force in response to the allegations to which they were responding. UNACCEPTABLE.

Not sure 'Come to Phoenix. We'll cap your right in the head' would make a great motto.

One of them assaulted a ONE YEAR OLD BABY and another brutally kicked a man who was 100% compliant. And the rest let it happen. Fire them all. And then indict them.
-
It's worse than that actually... not only did the other officers let it happen, they all had their chest-cams turned off (it's why only third-party cellphone video is available) and filed *false* reports on what actually happened. I hope they sue you into oblivion.

The fact sheet is slanderous. Mentioning previous warrants, suspended license, etc was information police would not have had in the moment, nor is it info that justifies the terrifying and brutal way ofcrs behaved. Add slander to the lawsuit, please.
-
It also does not say alleged shoplifting. Unless charges were filed, it is an alleged incident. And that IS slander.
