Not that I'm claiming Marxism is any good for analysing relations between the sexes, it's pretty hopeless really (despite Mr Engels's best efforts).
Tangentially, I did not realize that monogamy was being enforced uness this implies restricting sexual relations to marriage,, so I don't understand a pressing need to oppose it.
