Right, some illusions can be messed with in this way. But of course that's different than them being responsive to evidence/beliefs, which still doesn't happen in this case (or any case?)
True. Some of the ambiguous figure illusions seem to be responsive to knowledge - e.g., if you know how to see the young woman you can flick out of seeing the old woman. (But maybe they're not properly illusions?)
