Look, the regressive left are very annoying, but really its critics should stop banging on about postmodernism, because as far as I can tell most people who use the term as a criticism haven't the faintest idea what postmodernism entails.

Just stop it. If you haven't read Lyotard's "The Postmodern Condition", and you wouldn't know a grand narrative if it bit you on the nose, pipe down about postmodernism. You're making asses of yourselves.

The regressive left are way too fond of revealed political truth, and categorical moral certainty, to be accurately labelled as postmodernist. They talk constantly about being on the "right side of history" - which pretty much rules out postmodernism.

In what sense? That truth is situated? You can be a relativist without being a postmodernist...

How do postmodernists treat subjective experience? (Intersectional types attempt to derive universal truths from subjective experience. There's no way that's postmodernist...).

Sure, but postmodernism is suspicious of truth claims across the board. It's a rejection of modernist certainty. Intersectionality has much more in common with standpoint theory. (The idea one's location in systems of domination/subordination gives privileged access to truth).
