Part of the problem with "racism equals prejudice plus power" is you get the absurd situation where encouraging people to "kill all whites", and meaning it, might not be racist whereas perpetrating some loosely defined microaggression would be racist.
And it's no good replying, "Oh don't be silly, nobody means it if they tweet #killallwhites", because this is a point about the logic of the concept. If racism requires systemic power, and you don't have power, then encouraging racial genocide isn't racist. And that's ludicrous.
