Slavery in Ancient Greece was ubiquitous. Let's assume every citizen of Athens, for example, accepted the legitimacy of slavery. Would that mean there were no morally good Athenians?
Well, that's not necessarily true - virtue ethicists would see it different, for example. Also, many (most?) theological frameworks would think it possible a person to be evil - the proper focus of moral condemnation.
