Defeating nazism involved inflicting an enormous amount of death and suffering on all Germans, and most people would say it was worth it, ie justified, so I’m not sure your question leads where you want it to lead.
If Nazis deserve to be shot simply because they're Nazis, does that mean the summary execution of Nazi soldiers in WW2 would have been morally justified?

But not justified merely because Germans were Nazis... (Justified because it was the way to defeat Nazism.)

What I’m trying to say is that the answer to the second part may already be at least “maybe” for many people, so it doesn’t work as reductio ad absurdum of the first part (which I thought was the intent).
