My general view is people should be able to fuck up once or twice, even badly fuck up, without losing their jobs and/or everything for which they've worked.
I have to respect anyone willing to acknowledge, in such a public way, that they got something badly wrong.
Its intriguing how little people care about justice outside their own self interests!
